Language of Emotions.

Today we are living in an increasingly faster in terms of information. We are bombarded (literally) by an avalanche of information every day, dictating rules, norms and laws of how we should behave in life. We see advertising as it should be our body and how to get a perfect body, how to dress, how to feed, etc.. Etc.. Etc.., Ie, we should do and be what others want us to be anddo less ourselves.
All this generates conflicts and internal disturbances, which are externalized, causing major damage in our relationships with others and with ourselves.
Throughout history man seeks at all costs HAPPINESS.
What is happiness?
It would have a good job? A car of the year's best brand and model? A good bank account? A functional family? Etc., then why the man is increasingly isolated, depressed, sad?
It would be a stable emotional state?
I see that when we are moved, rightly or mistakenly feel that some stimulus affect our well being, or for better or worse, or something that is happening or is about to happen. This involves cognition, we thought about something.
Emotion is inherent to the human being as part of our being in the world.
The excitement only happens because there was a thought before about some stimulus. Being mostly very brief, we do not realize, to be on automatic, what the scholars in this area of knowledge called the Automatic Thought (PA), only realize our behavior and its consequences.
The good news about the PA. Is that we become aware of them and choose how to behave in healthy ways.
Today we can talk about CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which is gaining strength in problem solving.
Who in your daily routine, driving his car, was not closed by another vehicle? What thoughts had at the time? Or will react immediately? I think the second option was the most used.
How do you react physically to realize?
To understand what I mean. I wonder if anyone has noticed this very moment of the reaction? Have you seen someone depressed to describe his facial and physical appearance? It's like you looked into the mirror to see your face in the memento of the reaction. Got it? Eureka!?

The body shows our emotions, even if we try to hide them, and never at any time the body could lie.
Even if nothing unspoken, nonverbal language tells us we need to know. Only with practice learn to listen to your body and see the body.
The language of emotions involves verbal and nonverbal.
The non-verbal language, we know that the body shows.
The spoken language also helps to understand how the other is, even though we are not seeing.
To illustrate this, I will relate a case of a fellow doctor in advance and ask your permission to publish it. (Ekman, P. 2011).
Try as we might we could not disguise the emotion, because the non-verbal language is not lying.
"Mary (a pseudonym) was a woman of 40 who had attempted suicide three times before being hospitalized. Dr. Ekman watching the film that had been done in the middle period of his hospitalization, did not realize she was lying about their emotions, for the same smile much, spoke with optimism and seemed excited by pretending it was okay.
But when examining the film in slow motion detail and even frame by frame, a comprehensive work to gather information, which was worth it.
At one point the interview, the doctor asked Mary about their plans for the future. In a short pause before answering, we noticed a look of intense anxiety to take over the face of Mary; This aspect was so fleeting and quickly masked by a smile. In the freeze frame the emotion Mary became clear.
In these expressions Dr. Ekman and his collaborator named in the microexpressions, facial movements that are very fast, and realized non-verbal leakage which caused the true feelings. Other scholars had already detected these microexpressions and said they are not visible in real time, but if we know what we're looking for in an interview, to identify, but only with practice it becomes easier to detect them. These micro expressions, we must relate them to the contexts and sometimes make an additional inquiry.
Should also be assessed signs of emotion in his voice, his intonation, posture and other signs of cognitive basis.
The CBT is a wonderful tool in solving problems, but only if the individual happens to demand, is willing to make better choices. I say that the choices for our life is about choices.
Here I reserve the right to say that CBT, and other techniques and tools that look so HOLÍSITICA man, that is, apart from man, contributes to the improvement of people.

But it takes courage to start ... ... Courage ... color = heart ... act acting action of the heart ...! Now, put your goal in mind and attitudes that will come! Do something in the direction you want to ... lose weight, look for the nutricionosta or weight watchers, begin ... if at work, show service, show commitment, determination and attitude in love ... take care, love yourself first, if you value ... Remember that to achieve something you should start wishing and believing you can achieve ... your little angel is already there with an eye on your request ... and DO something about it! Do not just sit there complaining that life is not good for you ... And so, I hope that today, you think you will do what you want and going to work! Say YES to yourself!
Intelligence is flexible!

The more hardened and inflexible, easier to break down in strong shocks. This theory - physically observable - not only true of objects, but especially and increasingly, for human behavior.
In a world where the products are perishable and fleeting desires, flexibility stands out as a means of survival. It is the key to resilience and also the motto for success, both in life and in work.
Easy to grasp when we understand that you can not grow in stiffness. The growth itself is malleable, moldable and adaptable to new measures and new formats. Therefore, intelligent learner is metamorphosing.
It is clear that in the corporate world, the search is more emphatic by professionals who can not accept the differences inherent in a team or a department, but - above all, to celebrate those differences.
It is not enough to avoid conflicts. You have to see in them an opportunity to promote the necessary changes, evolve and become better just because of what is adverse.
A few years ago, research on developing what I call the Affective Intelligence, is latent saw how the lack of flexibility today. This led me to dwell on a key issue and forgotten today: kindness.
I did not discover any secret, the evidence was already there, but asleep: nice people are flexible ... and powerful! This work resulted in the book "The Power of Kindness."
It's amazing how some would even bet that investing in human relations is not the behavior more effective for those who aspire to great wealth or high office. They certainly know the power of kindness.
The "Movement for the improvement of interpersonal relationships and quality of life through kindness" (World Kindness Movement) - the official representative of Brazil is the Brazilian Association of Quality of Life (ABQV) - states that gentle people are more valued in the professional market , since the quality of relationships, the integration between employees and the attitudes of kindness are factors that influence the final results and increased productivity.
Kindness, and hence the flexibility and tolerance, yet have a direct influence on our mental, emotional and physical. The lack of these attributes in daily life has caused incalculable damage to all. The World Health Organization estimates, for example, that by 2020 depression will be the second leading cause of unproductive people, second only to cardiovascular diseases.
What is the reason for such dissatisfaction? I am sure that ultimately, this is not a raise or position. It is the lack of recognition by the human that is in each one, the lack of quality in the exchange between people, the remoteness, lack of intimacy and trust, lack of affection and availability, inflexibility towards one's own frustrations . It is the lack of kindness! It is what it is, you bet!
So while technical skills are essential for companies, they know they can train a professional to become technically enabled, and knows that to be pleasant, friendly, flexible and kind, there must be a personal decision.
So companies can motivate and encourage their employees to change behavior, but be kind is essentially an individual's choice.It has to do with the beliefs and values that he fed daily. In other words, kindness is a daily exercise!

Transformational FIELD

This weekend we had the pleasure of spending 36 hours in progress with Beth Erickson and Paul Adler, in a truly immersive theme - The Transformational Field.
What do you think would be a transformational field?
When we were going to the event, I asked myself over and over this question ... When Beth started talking about how not to think of something linear, I realized I really had to pay close attention, because he believed it would be very complex.
How can we not think of anything as linear or nonlinear think?
In addition to the paradigm right or wrong there is a space, a field and if you let us meet there.
In Ericksonian work, there is a vibrational field where situations related to the ego, get out of the way and have the opportunity to choose the date from human to human. (When you drop your beliefs, concepts, fears, you surrender to each other in a natural way and when that happens you go into the sacred space of each).
Standing in front of your client, you must have the clarity that is before a single universe in motion and when it connects to it, leaving aside the manner of pre-established you simply have nothing to do, just focus on this person, for it is she who has the recipe for its cure.
It makes me think of the hundreds of therapists who have a job and want to cast any rules imposing price during a session, as if they owned the only irrefutable truth, forgetting that in front of him is a human being.
Remember, whenever you can, you are perfectly imperfect, it is nice or beautiful, exactly as is, and is living the ability to share yourself.
We live in a time where people are scared, they do not want to volunteer, do not feel good enough and so close within an armature that in this way, protect themselves from criticism and the possibility of not being accepted. When we choose to give the best of us, metaphorically, we stand naked in front of another and that has to be good enough as it is all we have, as a therapist and if you accept without trial, and put yourself available to the other, there but the field drops.
The ideal field is one that is constructed or manifested through us, expressing the best we have, it's like a dance, take a field to the other more loving and balanced, making it even for a moment.
To focus and attention back to his best is the possibility of changing the other.
After receiving a huge load of information, our teachers divided the class into groups so that we could enter the field. I remember that quickly began to recall the last words spoken by Beth and tips from Paul, because I really wanted to play my role in that group as well.
My focus was to understand everything that was happening around me, and as a mathematician began to streamline every step I would take the next moment, but things really happened when I gave up wanting to be what I was not at that time .. .
When I gave that time and left the title "I am" and became "we are" all flowed so naturally and had fantastic experiences ...Because we were in a vibrational field and our experiences interacted ... I did not know where I started and ended where my colleague ...
You can not explain with words, but I can meet you there ...
